About AvLists
AvLists is a marketplace for aircraft across the United States and Canada, with a dealer directory and aviation services. We built it for owners, brokers and dealers who want a free listing that goes up today, and for buyers who want straight answers about what they are looking at.
What makes it different
Free to list, prices in the open
Listing is free for every seller. The Verified and Pro dealer plans are on the pricing page. No sales call, no quote, no waiting for someone to approve your plan. Most listings go live within minutes.
Aircraft checked against the registry
When a seller enters a registration mark, AvLists compares the make, model, serial number and year with the FAA or Transport Canada registry. A match earns a registry-verified badge; a mismatch goes to a person for review before the listing appears.
The facts buyers ask for
Days on market, the date and size of every price change, and asking prices for the same model across the market. Sold listings stay visible for 30 days so you can see what moved.
A quiet inbox
There is no open chat. A buyer sends one clear enquiry, the seller answers when ready, and each side writes only after the other has replied. Alerts are off or set to a daily digest until you choose otherwise.
Free for buyers
Searching, saving searches, favourites, comparisons, want-to-buy requests and contacting sellers cost nothing.
Built for a phone
Every page is designed for a small screen first. Install AvLists from your browser to get it on your home screen, and turn on notifications only for the things you care about.
How we check listings
Before a listing goes live, AvLists compares the aircraft with the FAA or Transport Canada registry, compares its photos with other sellers' photos and looks for common signs of a scam. These checks are fixed rules that give the same answer every time, and a person reviews anything a check flags.
What AvLists is not
AvLists is a place to list and find aircraft. We are not a broker or a dealer, we do not hold money for either side, and a registry match is not a title search or an inspection. Before you buy, read how to buy safely.
Who runs it
AvLists is a VOL and ForIT company (volflight.com and forit.io); ForIT builds and runs it. Its market numbers come from listings on AvLists.
